Natural Hazelnut
They are kernels as produced by removing shells of hazelnuts. They are separated in three groups.
a) Chubby kernel hazelnut : Its calibres' is equal to its heights.
b) Pointed kernel hazelnut :Its height is a little over from its calibre and its edge is pointed hazelnut.
c) Other kernel hazelnuts: They are shelled hazelnuts except from chubby and pointed shelled hazelnut.
Kernels are produced as extra, 1st and 2nd quality. The calibre of estra and 1st quality kernels is minimum 9mm. The others below that calibre called as thin and pikola hazelnuts. ( between 6-9mm).
Extra and 1st hazelnuts are categorized according to buyers request as below:
b) 11-13 mm
c) over 11 mm
It is not necessary to sizing 2nd quality kernels. Our products have Turkish Certificate of Suitability.
